に引き続き、僕がリトアニアの大学で勉強していることをご紹介しようと思います！ :) 

ちょうど今週、このクラスのテストが終わって僕は完全に冬休みに入りました～!! 別に勉強していた訳じゃないですが、気持ち的に楽になりましたー！

どんな内容

こちらのクラス、今回は敢えてタイトルを英語のままにしておきました。なんか日本語で表現がしにくいからです。というのも、敢えて日本語に訳すのなら「個人管理とキャリア」という感じになるのですが、授業の内容が明らかに違うからです！

生徒はこのクラスのことをこう言います、、、

ん～　正直僕はこのクラスの内容を10%くらいしか理解せずに終わってしまった気がします笑　というのもこのクラスで学んでいることが本当に難しいというか奥が深いからです！

です、はい。日本語で表現するのも難しいです。。。笑　でも、テストも終わって時間があるので簡単にそれぞれのトピックについて振り返って行こうと思います！

Social contract theory

ソーシャルコントラクト(社会契約論)についてです。17世紀にルソーが唱えた理論で、内容は、、、、はい理解していません笑　  :-)  個人の権利についてとか国家に従うかどうかなどについてでした～(超テキトウ)

• Focus on your positive strong points and core values and write an open plan

(mission and vision).

• Set objectives for short, medium and long term. Focus on them without putting

pressure on yourself. Stop or adjust while going, but keep going!

• Try to stick to your time commitments even when you have no inspiration or you are

distracted. Be patient and focused, eventually inspiration and creation will come.

• Surround yourself with people that can help you (4 directions).

• Be correct to yourself and others, always. If you practice this, the personal reward is

much more rewarding.

• Practice what you preach: work on yourself and on your image.

Mission and Vision

実はこのクラスでも、生徒は一回はプレゼンテーションをする必要がありました。最初のトピックのチャンスを逃してしまったので、僕はこのトピックの時にプレゼンテーションを行いました :)  テーマは「ミッションとビジョン」ということで日本の例を挙げて、もし自分がなりたいことやりたいことがあるならどのようにそれに向かっていくかを説明しました！

日本でもし大きな企業に就職したいなら、いい大学に入ってたくさん資格を取って、、、みたいな話しをしてヨーロッパとの違いをみんなで話し合いました！

In-groups and Out-groups

これまた難しいトピック。。。名前の通りグループ(集団)について勉強しました。

• Human as a social being. Look at what Aristotle has to say about it.

• Exploring what makes humans interact nowadays.

• Sharing is caring (seen from a technological point of view).

• How public is your private space?

• The border between public and private is your bubble.

• The size of a human bubble is different among cultures.

• 3 levels: family, community, large social identity

• The size of your personal bubble is defined by a close relationship.

• The size of a bubble defines and is defined by the viciousness of a group.

このクラスの良いところは、勉強している内容の必要性はわからないけどいつも何かしら社会で起きていることを学べるからです。

みなさん「Racial Profiling 」ってご存知でしょうか？　これは昔からアメリカで起こっている大問題なのですが、このクラスを通して初めて知りました。

日本語に直訳すれば “人種的分析” となりますが、簡単に言うと “見た目で差別する” という意味になります。下の動画を是非見て下さい。

どうでしょうか？ Over the top ですよね。。　Youtubeで「Racial Profiling」で検索すればたくさん動画が出てきます。こういうのが平気で起こっている世の中。。。どうなんでしょうか。

Obedience and conformity

どちらも「服従」という意味のあるこのトピック。色んな集団がある中で何に従って行きていくのか勉強しました。

– Reasons why obedient acts happen:

1. Training (like military).

2. Orders are given by a superior who is not directly involved in the action.

3. Fear of penalties for the disobedient.

4. Obedient resulting acts are targeting out-groups. Out-groups are already put in a bad light by the time the action happens.

5. No personal moral responsibility.

6. Being obedient out of automatic habits.

–  Obedience creates different levels of compromise and conformity.

–  Self-employment as a solution.

Networking

 こちらは名前の通り、どのように他人とネットワークを形成しているかというトピック。   Golden rules

• You Ltd., references (database): work, keep, relate and comfort, transform them.

• Creating added value: to give rather than get.

• Getting involved: opting-in.

• Having fun ? it is a NATURAL process.

• Using smart ideas, asking smart questions (a reporter).

• Start, keep and grow the conversation. Keep eye contact, give feedback.

• A hub for mobility and flexibility.

• Your image: analysis of event, audience, dressing code, confidence, business cards, the badge, the

promotional material.

• Mindfulness: verbal (first seconds, words, tone, start and stop) and non-verbal communication (understanding the scene, body posture, eyes empathy, the card and the shake of hands, smile :).

• Information vs. knowledge or up-to-date vs. stand out from the crowd.   ↑こちらは上手にネットワークを作るためのゴールデンルール。   この授業ではネットワークに関するゲームをみんなで行いました！

Going the extra mile

こちらはextra mileということで「もうひと頑張りの努力」についてのトピックです。もうひと頑張りの努力は人から言われてするものではなくて、自分の意志、自分の内側からくる気持ちで行うべきとのこと。これには納得。自分がやりたいから、意欲があるから意識しなくても頑張れる人は頑張れるんですよね～

このトピックに関連してクラスのみんなでリトアニアの国会に訪問をしました。(なんの関連性か忘れたけど笑)

Taking a break from the daily routine

こちらは「Gap year」についてです。ギャップイヤーは日本ではまだそんなに馴染みのない言葉ですが、海外では結構浸透しています。高校を出た後に１年間休みをとって敢えて大学に行かずにボランティア等を行って経験をつけることです。大学の在籍中に丸々休学することもギャップイヤーです。

僕がブログでも紹介しているWWOOFやWorkawayを使って別の国でボランティアをするーみたいな話がありました。また、ギャップイヤー中にボランティアではなくても自分のビジネスに時間を使ってもいいとのこと。以下のサイトはそういうのに向いているサイトです。

こちらもいい先生！

経済学の時と同様に、こちらのクラスの先生もめっちゃいい人でした！ルーマニア人の先生なのですが、すごくポジティブで日本人の僕によく色々と質問をしてきます笑。　そしてめっちゃ優しくて、僕がプレゼンテーションを作るのにアワアワしてたら、「僕はプレゼンテーションで生徒を評価したりしないから、自分の思うことを喋ればいいよ。僕がサポートするから心配するな。」と言ってくれました！　いいね、他の生徒もみんなこの先生のことが大好きでした！
