Hi there, Now I stay in Japan for a while, in order to prepare for next trip. 🙂 Today I’ll show you how to use free-Internet in Japan. Probably you worry about if Free-Internet is available or not. Don’t worry . We have some places that are allowed to use Free-Internet.
7 ELEVEN
“7 ELEVEN” are known as the biggest convenience stores in Japan. There are 18099 stores in Japan. so it can be found easily. They have Free-Internet called “7SPOT” . Luckily for you guys, they provide English website.
This page says “A free high-speed Internet connection that you can use three times a day for 60 minutes each time.” That means you can use Internet for 180 minutes in total a day. It helps you for sure.
Starbucks
There are 1096 stores in Japan. They have totally free high-speed Internet. When starting to connect, all you have to do is fill in your e-mail address .It’s easy-peasy for everyone. And you also can use SNS account such as Facebook, Twitter and Google.
The cheapest price of coffee is 300JPY I guess. (It’s about $2.5) You can connect it for as long as you want.
Wifi name is “at_STARBUCKS_Wi2”
Don Quixote(ドン・キホーテ)
Don Quixote is known as the store that sell reasonable things. Thus You can do good shopping here too. There are 311 stores in Japan. Of course , they have English site .And You don’t have to register it in advance. You don’t have to be confused. You can connect it for as long as you want.

Thanks for reading. Free-Internet is increasing little by little in Japan. Other than these, Some of station, library and public place have free-Internet. I think most big cities have free-Internet.
